It's important to find  a healthy eating plan you can stick with for the rest of your life. Make small changes one at a time in your eating habits, so you don't overload your self-control with demands. Add a reasonable amount of exercise.

Your lifestyle is an important consideration. Don't choose an eating plan that requires a radical departure from the norm.

Eating a healthy diet requires some effort and some knowledge. Not every food you purchase out in the market is good for you regardless of the message the package offers in bold letters. Here are two handful of healthy eating tips no matter which eating plan you choose for a wholesome life.
And check out item 10 all the way down for a few points on healthy eating to lose weight.
1

EAT WHOLE FOODS

Particularly fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and vegetable proteins such as legumes, nuts and seeds.

2

WE ARE WHAT WE EAT, AREN'T WE?

So put only quality food into your body. Reduce refined foods, sugar, processed carbohydrates, excess fatty and rich foods, and foods with additives or synthetic coloring.

3

DO NOT DRINK DURING MEALS!

Drink no more than 4 ounces of liquids with meals, as this can dilute the digestive juices.

4

CHEW YOUR FOOD THOROUGHLY!

Eat in a relaxed environment, and never eat when upset.

5

DRINK WATER

Drink 6 to 8 glasses of water daily, plus herbal teas.

6

USE NUTRITIONAL SUPPLEMENTS AND HERBS AS APPROPRIATE

Supplement your digestive function as needed with hydrochloric acid, digestive enzymes, and pancreatic products.

7

TRY TO STAY AWAY FROM ADDICTIONS

Moderate your use of alcohol, caffeine and nicotine. Beware of excessive use of prescription, OTC, and recreational drugs.

8

EXERCISE

If you do not yet have an exercise program, set one up. Do it regularly and with the right combination of activities that will provide strength, flexibility, endurance and enjoyment.

9

MAINTAIN REGULAR ELIMINATION

Your diet, exercise and stress levels should allow your bowels to move at least once or twice daily. After illness or antibiotics (acidophilus and other positive digestive bacteria). If this is not sufficient to restore normal digestion and elimination, and your GI function stays irregular for more than a few weeks, seek the advice of a health care practitioner.

HEALTHY EATING TO LOSE WEIGHT

A weight loss diet is a temporary solution to a long-term problem. Dieters tend to return to their old habits leading to regained pounds. For individuals who want lasting weight loss, it's recommended to stop dieting and make some permanent lifestyle changes they can comfortably live with.

Furthermore exercise should be a part of your healthy weight-loss plan.

Most of diet plans are not satisfactory because they base on low-calorie foods that contain very little fat. Others require you to eat very
small quantities of food for weeks on end. Sometimes you can eat as much as you want as long as you get plenty of protein but drastically cut your carbohydrate consumption.

None of these diets will satisfy you for very long, but most importantly they don't seem very healthy

Diets that require special foods can really strain your food budget. The expense of special bars, shakes and supplements is pretty appalling, not to mention unnecessary. Diet plans that require you to buy pre-packaged meals are the most expensive of all, and they often contain additives that can sabotage your success.

The healthiest and happiest eating plans are those that contain a mixture of lean protein, heart-healthy fats and complex carbohydrates. As outlined above in the healthy eating tips, add plenty of fiber and water to your daily diet, and your body will be more satisfied with the fuel you put in it.

For weight loss to be safe and permanent, it needs to come as the result of a lifestyle change. Healthy eating seems to be the best solution for short and long term results in weight loss.
